HWC CSR Activities – ASPERN rehabilitation centre
This year again, HWC employees and their family members organised a sports festival together with the children of the ASPERN rehabilitation centre. This year the event was actively supported by our partner “Evolvice Team”. While the children had a lot of fun together with the adults during the various sports activities and games, a play house was built on the premises as a surprise for the children. The house was then decorated with flowers and handed over for the use together with sports and play equipment.

Auch in diesem Jahr haben die Mitarbeiter von HWC und deren Familienangehörige gemeinsam mit den Kinder des Rehabilitationszentrums ASPERN ein Sportfest veranstaltet. Die Veranstaltung wurde in diesem Jahr aktiv durch unseren Partner «Evolvice Team» unterstützt. Während die Kinder gemeinsam mit den Erwachsenen bei den verschiedenen sportliche Aktivitäten und Spielen viel Spaß hatten, wurde als Überraschung für die Kinder ein Spielhaus auf dem Gelände errichtet, welches anschließend mit Blumen geschmückt zusammen mit Sport- und Spielgeräten zur Nutzung übergeben wurde.

Internship experience by Glib
I am a second-year student at the University of Ottawa in International Management program. It was very important for me to get an internship in the company that is working in the business field and at the same time is oriented for work with international companies. I think that an internship in HWC was a perfect opportunity to combine those two requirements as HWC provides consulting services for international and global companies working in Ukraine.
I was an intern in HWC for ten weeks. During that time, I had an opportunity to apply the knowledge I got in university and to develop new skills that will be essential for my future career. During my internship, I was involved in various projects where I had to collaborate with the director (Dr. Thomas Winkelmann) and accounting team. Together with HWC employees, we worked on such projects as due diligence, market analyses, financial analyses, and benchmarking. I have also worked on the creation of presentations for our clients and document patterns for internal use.
I want to give my special thanks to Thomas for his support and time he dedicated. He has not only taught me the skills needed to do the work but also shared his experience in managing the business.
Overall, I think it was a very useful experience that helped me develop new skills and determine a vector for my future career.

Я студент другого курсу університету Оттави з напряму міжнародного менеджменту. Для мене було дуже важливо влаштуватися на стажування до компанії, яка надає консалтингові послуги для міжнародних організацій, які працюють в Україні. Я вважаю, що стажування у «ЕЙЧ ВІ СІ» було ідеальною можливістю для того, щоб поєднати підприємницьку діяльність та роботу з іноземними компаніями.
Я стажувався в «ЕЙЧ ВІ СІ» протягом десяти тижнів. За цей час у мене була можливість використати знання, які я здобув в університеті, а також здобути нові навички, які стануть у пригоді у моїй подальшій кар’єрі. Протягом стажування я був задіяний у багатьох проектах, у співпраці з директором (Dr. Томасом Вінкельманном) та департаментом бухгалтерії. Разом з колегами «ЕЙЧ ВІ СІ» ми працювали над такими проектами як аналіз маркетингу, фінансовий та порівняльний аналізи. Також я працював над створенням презентацій для наших клієнтів та шаблонів документів, що використовуються у компанії.
Хочу висловити особливу подяку Томасу за його допомогу та приділений час. Він не тільки вчив мене виконувати поставленні завдання, а й ділився досвідом в управлінні бізнесом.
Взагалі, я вважаю, що це був дуже корисний досвід, який допоміг мені розвинути нові навички та визначитися із напрямком моєї майбутньої кар’єри.

At the special invitation of The Lord Evans of Watford, the seminar Ukraine SME Opportunities – Meeting with business and political experts took place on 18 June in the House of Lords.
