For the second year running, the German Business Committee for Eastern Europe and KPMG conducted a survey of German companies actively operating in the CEE region. HWC took part once again and was represented by partner Dr Thomas Winkelmann at the presentation and discussion of the results on 23 March 2026.
The facts and outlook presented revealed clear trends and were, in some cases, surprising. Who is aware that Germany’s trade volume with CEE is greater than that with the US and China combined, or that Ukraine, despite the war, ranks second as an attractive investment location?
