HWC LLC is pleased to announce the establishment of a strategic partnership with Ingenieurbüro Döring GmbH (https://www.doeringmunmanagement.de/) aimed at adapting and localizing the standard training program developed and used Ingenieurbüro Döring GmbH to address the specific needs and operational context of humanitarian demining activities in Ukraine.
As part of this collaboration, both parties are jointly developing a specialized course titled “Commercially Available Technologies for Demining Drones: Usage, Components, Suppliers, and Cost-Benefit Analysis.” The course is designed to introduce Ukrainian stakeholders to advanced, state-of-the-art technologies that can significantly enhance the efficiency, safety, and precision of mine action operations.
Key topics include the application of modern geomagnetic sensors, land mapping and analysis software, compact high-precision inertial navigation systems, and modular unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platforms suitable for demining. The course is structured into four comprehensive modules:
1. Overview of Drone Use in Humanitarian Demining
2. Component Analysis and Technological Integration
3. Mapping of Commercial Suppliers and Solutions
4. Cost-Benefit Analysis and Field Implementation Scenarios
The course will be available in both English and Ukrainian, ensuring its accessibility and practical value for the targeted Ukrainian audience.
To implement this initiative, HWC LLC and Doring Engineering Buro GmbH have formed a dedicated consortium and submitted a proposal to the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative (https://eitdeeptech.eu).
The aim is to support Ukraine’s recovery and resilience by enhancing national capacity through innovative technological training and knowledge transfer.
