We are pleased to share that our colleague Viktor Golovii, Principal at Henniger Winkelmann Consulting (HWC), has been selected as a finalist of the 2026 UKRAINET PhD Thesis Presentation Contest following a peer-review selection process.
The Contest Final will take place on 8 October 2026 at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau (TH Wildau), Germany, as part of the Days of Ukraine in Brandenburg. Viktor will present his doctoral research on the strategies of wineries from Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia in the context of European integration. UKRAINET selected four finalists from 15 PhD applicants.

For Viktor, pursuing a PhD is closely connected with his professional career in management consulting. Throughout his work at HWC and earlier consulting roles, he has been particularly passionate about coaching and mentoring younger colleagues, sharing professional knowledge, and exploring how research can help address practical management challenges. His doctoral studies reflect the same ambition: to combine extensive practical experience with advanced theoretical insights and to share these perspectives with colleagues, clients, and students.
